Winter-friendly 36” insulated remote DEF dispenser
As the seasons change and the temperatures drop, people begin focusing on protecting things from freezing. Some will bring their plants inside, others will cover their pools. However, those in our industry are often challenged with preventing Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) from freezing. Since DEF is mostly water, it takes on similar effects when exposed to frigid temperatures. When temperatures reach 12°F, DEF freezes. For northern applications, where a remote dispenser is needed, one custom solution TECALEMIT offers is our 36” insulated remote DEF dispenser. This dispenser set up solves the following problem effectively and economically: The DEF storage tank exists indoors, while DEF is needed outside the building for driver accessibility.
While small, this remote dispenser carries a mighty punch. This 36” insulated remote DEF dispenser was designed to be winter-friendly and safely dispense Diesel Exhaust Fluid, even in the coldest of climates. We insulated the inside of the cabinet and added a heater. This ensures each of the components nested in the cabinet are kept at an appropriate temperature. These components include TECALEMIT’s Hornet W85 DEF transfer pump, which is 100% continuous duty cycle. In addition, a 25ft. hose reel, flow meter, and automatic nozzle. Furthermore, we added an on/off nozzle activation switch, which is a unique nozzle holder that eliminates manually turning the pump on and off.
Our 36” insulated remote DEF dispensers are custom-built to meet the needs of each individual customer. Each of these systems are developed, manufactured, and assembled in-house. TECALEMIT special teams are ready to serve you with complete system solutions.
In conclusion, don’t forget to protect your DEF and/or equipment among other things this winter. The frosty temperatures are inevitable, so begin preparing for them now. Contact us for more information by giving us a call at 281-446-7300, or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
